The Mid refers to Middle. In the middle of our lives, we have arrived at a place with a view very much like that from the center span of a bridge. We see things from a unique perspective.
Chix is our way of saying “hey, in case there’s any doubt, we’re cool.” Plus, birds are pretty perfect representatives of women. With 10,000 living species, they have unique characteristics and universal charm. In poetry and legend, nothing more frequently symbolizes joy than birds and their songs.
MidChix is a unique social networking site with stories for and about rare birds like us, and a place to stay connected.
After launching as a social networking site for women over 40, we’ve found that our passion, and that of so many of our followers, is about making a difference in the world, and especially in the lives of women and children. We want to teach and learn, share and support, connect and care.
