The Story of Going Above and Beyond For A Friend With Cancer! In her home, and between her other work and personal responsibilities... For two years straight -- literally on a daily basis -- Mews Small cared for a her friend Mawiyah during her journey with "cancer" by loving her, inspiring her consoling her, cooking for her, bathing her, overseeing her affairs, taking her back and forth for medical care, being "family" to her, and sitting with her for hours in a hospital emergency rooms. The woman she cared for was our dear friend Dr. Mawiyah Clayborne, who passed away last April... Mews served as her primary care-giver and "surrogate family" until the end. Mawiyah's biological family were in another state, and was only able to visit her for a few days only a few times in those two years. Even then, along with others, Mews continued her support to plan, conduct and perform (Mews is an actress) at, a Memorial Service and be present for just about everything related to Mawiyah!
