Fan Whitley is an outstanding woman at my church who goes above and beyond to help anyone she can. She is the Seniors Outreach Ministry leader where she hosts once a month a lunch and entertainment for the senior citizens in and around our community. She goes as a missionary to Jamaica every year and teaches the children over there. She goes to the homeless shelters and passes out items that are needed and ministers and prays for the residents there. She does a christmas shoe box for the Samaritan and sends gifts to kids overseas. She goes to the nursing home once a week and sings and teaches the alzheimers patients. She helps people in the church with rides, food, or whatever she can do. She never asks for anything in return for her service. This woman is 70 something years young and still full of fire.
