As founder of Sisters 4 Sisters, a 501© (3) National non-profit, community based organization dedicated to the empowerment of women & girls, Carolyn Washington is in the trenches everyday helping to strengthen women and families in Prince George's County Maryland. Carolyn has unselfishly committed her life to helping restore the spirit of women who are experiencing challenges in every day life. Sister4Sister delivers enlightening workshops on personal and professional development and training along with engaging community outreach in the areas of Domestic Violence, HIV-AIDS, Homelessness, Women's Health and Mentoring Young Girls and Tweens. Carolyn started her life as an only child who was traumatized during her youth. A college graduate who had a 20 year career as a Marketing Executive for several technology and communications organizations. Sisters4Sisters, Inc. has been rated by Great Non-Profits as one of the top women's empowerment organizations. She has received several local, national and congressional awards and recognitions for the service she has provided to the Prince George's County community. Nominating Carolyn was a no-brainer. She has impacted the lives of women and girls in ways that are too numerous to list, however, Sister4Sisters, Inc.'s most noted programs are: LOVE: Leave Out Violence Everyday (Domestic Violence Awareness & Support), SOS: Saving Our Sisters (HIV/AIDs Awareness), Daughters of Destiny: Young Girls & Teens Mentorship Program).
